Remove a wasps nest

We have a wasp nest under the roof (about 4 meters above the ground) that we would like to remove. There is a traffic of wasps coming in and out a hole at the connection between the wall and the roof, but the nest itself is not visible, neither from the ground nor from the attic. The hole is at about 4 meters above the ground and easily accessible from the ground. I suspect that the nest is somewhere in the insulation layer in the floor of the attic. The wasps have been there from around beginning of the summer.
